Corn and soybean prices are trending higher, with USDA’s July WASDE Report raising the 2026/27 season-average price forecast to $4.40 per bushel for corn and $11.40 for soybeans. Much of that strength traces back to China’s new trade agreement, which has renewed demand hopes after a rocky stretch for exports. Tighter old-crop corn stocks are adding further support, while an eased soybean carryout estimate has helped firm up that market as well. Together, these shifts point to a stronger price environment heading into harvest, though weather and demand could still move the numbers.
