After several attempts, the U.S. House and Senate passed The American Relief Act of 2025, a continuing resolution (CR), on December 20. President Biden signed the CR on December 21. The CR included economic assistance to offset low commodity prices/negative profit margins and disaster payments for agricultural producers.
